Welcome to the 45th Infantry Division!
We are the 45th Infantry Division Thunderbirds. Soldiers who fought long and hard during World War II. The main goals of the 45th Infantry Division, Call of Duty Unit, besides having fun, are to honor the veterans who served the United States Armed Forces in World War II, so that their legacy may live on, and to educate all within our reach about the history of our nation and our Armed Forces. We are a Call of Duty Tactical Realism Unit, play as realistically and tactically as possible. We strive to utilize teamwork, realism, and the true brotherhood and friendship of our soldiers to accomplish the objectives.
- Operational Order from Headquarters US Army: This online unit, the 45th Infantry Division [45th ID] was founded November 1st, 2004 and is hereby transfered to the front lines November 28th, 2004.

We ARE the Rock of Anzio!
We are the 45th Infantry Division, a Call of Duty 2 Tactical Realism Unit based on the true Thunderbirds who fought in World War II. We were founded November 2004, starting as a Call of Duty United Offensive Unit. We uphold an integrity for the fallen soldiers but most of all... we believe in comradery. The friendship and relationships we create here establishes a bond that is more than gaming, it's a family. The memories of this brotherhood will always lie in the pictures of our home because you create them. We have been going 4 years strong and there is a reason why, our members. We are still gamers who enjoy the fun of the game and with that creates passion.
We are a Tactical Realism (TR) Unit. In fact, we call ourselves a Unit for a reason. A clan is a group of individuals who come together for the simple concept of gaming. A unit is a brotherhood of members who believe in everlasting friendships. We stand together, we win together, we lose together. No matter what game we decide to play, we play it as "ONE".

The 45th ID would like to invite all soldiers and civilians for a Honorary CORD performance in remembrance of our fallen troops Sunday 24th at 3:00PM EST. Afterwards, the 45th ID will be on our Allied Headquarters server for Unit Patrol.
